We do not ask you to create an account. The message tool on our contact page composes text in your browser; nothing you type there is sent to our servers. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Why we use it

We use emails to reply to you and to correct our guides. We use server logs to keep the site secure and working. Our legal bases are our legitimate interests in running a safe, accurate website and, where relevant, your request that we respond to you.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence only as long as needed to answer you and to maintain a record of corrections, and normally no longer than 24 months. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our host.

Sharing
